How Does Plastic purge work?

Think about Plastic Purge as a laundry detergent that acts as a Brita Filter for your clothes.

Your Brita filters the water before you drink it.

Our laundry detergent removes harmful chemicals from your wash.

We use activated carbon to bind, zeolite to trap, and laccase enzyme to neutralize suspected toxins

Just add 2 scoops next time you do laundry!

Why should you care about microplastics?

The microplastic crisis is clearly in the public spotlight. New studies have shown microplastics are being found in all human tissue; from the brain, to testicles and even in breast milk. The reason this matters is the toxins carried by microplastics like BPA can have severe health effects on human regulatory systems (like the endocrine system). BPA has been associated with infertility, hormone disruption, cancer & more. It’s critical we are paying attention to what we put onto and into our bodies, and your clothes are a critical piece of the equation.

How are microplastics and my clothes connected?

The majority of clothes are made from synthetic textiles which is a fancy word for plastic. So when you wash your clothes, microplastics shed from the clothes and release into the laundry water & clothing surface. This then exposes people and the environment to harmful microplastic toxins like BPA. Studies have shown 40X the allowable limit of BPA gets released during a standard wash of workout clothes. Plastic Purge was created to help remove these harmful toxins from the wash!

Patent-pending Technology

Plastic Purge uses a patent-pending blend of activated carbon, zeolite, and enzyme that's built to bind, trap and neutralize the toxins.

FabricNano has evaluated the efficacy of these detoxifying detergent components with varying levels of spiked BPA in detergent water. Available lab testing shows that microplastic derived toxins, like BPA, are removed from detergent water when the correct blend of activated charcoal, zeolites, and enzyme are used.
